Everything you need to know about buying liquidation pallets, our shipping process, and how to get started as a reseller.

Getting Started
6 questions

A liquidation pallet is a bulk lot of merchandise that retailers, manufacturers, or distribution centers sell at a discounted price. These pallets typically contain customer returns, overstock items, shelf pulls, or excess inventory that retailers can no longer sell through their regular channels.

At Liquidation Pallets LLC, our pallets are sourced directly from Amazon, Walmart, Target, Home Depot, and other major US retailers. Items may include electronics, tools, clothing, home goods, and much more — typically valued at 50–80% above what you pay.

Pallets typically contain 40–200+ individual items

No, you do not need a business license to purchase from Liquidation Pallets LLC. We welcome individual buyers, sole proprietors, and established businesses alike.

However, if you plan to resell merchandise professionally, we recommend obtaining a reseller’s permit or seller’s permit in your state. This allows you to purchase items tax-exempt for resale and is required in most states to collect sales tax from your customers.

There is no minimum order requirement. You can purchase as little as a single pallet. We cater to both first-time buyers who want to start small and experienced resellers who buy multiple truckloads at a time.

Buying multiple pallets at once often results in better per-unit pricing and reduced shipping costs. Contact us to ask about volume discounts.

Getting started is simple. To place an order:

  • Browse our available pallets on the Services page
  • Contact us via phone, email, or the Contact form with your selection
  • Our team will send you an invoice and payment instructions
  • Once payment is confirmed, we process and ship your order

Returning customers can request to be added to our mailing list for early access to new inventory and exclusive deals.

Yes! We do allow in-person warehouse visits and pickups by appointment. Please contact us in advance to schedule your visit. Walk-in appointments are not guaranteed, so always call ahead.

If you’re local, you can also save on shipping costs by picking up your pallets directly from our warehouse.

Absolutely. Liquidation reselling is one of the most accessible entry points into entrepreneurship. The barrier to entry is low — you don’t need a storefront or a large investment to start. Many of our customers began by purchasing a single pallet and selling items on eBay, Facebook Marketplace, or at local flea markets.

We’re happy to guide new buyers on which pallet categories tend to offer the best return on investment. Don’t hesitate to reach out before placing your first order.

5 questions

Condition varies by pallet type:

  • Customer Returns: May be opened, used, or untested. Condition ranges from like-new to damaged.
  • Overstock / Shelf Pulls: New, never used items retailers are clearing from shelves. Usually excellent condition.
  • Salvage: Items that may have cosmetic damage, missing parts, or non-functional units. Priced accordingly.
  • Manifested Pallets: Come with itemized lists detailing each item’s condition.

We always specify the pallet type in each listing so you know what to expect before buying.

A manifested pallet comes with a detailed itemized list — called a manifest — that shows each product on the pallet, including the item name, ASIN or UPC, retail value, and condition. This lets you calculate your potential ROI before purchasing.

Not all pallets are manifested. Unmanifested pallets are “mystery” lots — you get a general category description but not an item-by-item breakdown. These are typically cheaper but carry more uncertainty.

All of our merchandise is sourced directly from major US retailers and their authorized liquidation partners. Our sources include Amazon FBA return programs, Walmart, Target, Home Depot, Lowe’s, and various regional retail chains.

We do not source from gray markets or overseas. Every pallet we sell consists of genuine US retail merchandise — authentic, US-market goods only.

We receive new shipments multiple times per week. Our inventory moves quickly, so popular pallets can sell out fast. We recommend signing up for our email notifications to be alerted when new inventory arrives.

You can also contact our team directly to let us know what you’re looking for — we’ll notify you when a matching pallet becomes available.

Shipping & Delivery
4 questions

Yes! We ship to all 50 US states, including Alaska and Hawaii (additional charges may apply for remote locations). We use a network of trusted freight carriers and logistics partners to ensure your pallets arrive safely.

Shipping costs depend on the weight and dimensions of the pallet, your location, and the shipping method selected. We provide shipping quotes upon request before you finalize your order.

Shipping is typically quoted via freight (LTL or FTL). For local customers, free warehouse pickup is available by appointment.

Free pickup available for local customers

Transit times vary by your location:

  • Nearby states: 2–4 business days
  • Mid-country: 4–6 business days
  • Far West or East Coast: 5–8 business days
  • Alaska / Hawaii: 7–14 business days

We’ll provide a tracking number once your shipment has been picked up by the freight carrier.

If your pallet arrives visibly damaged by the freight carrier, please note the damage on the delivery receipt before the driver leaves. Take photos of the damage and contact us within 24 hours of delivery.

Freight damage claims are handled through the carrier’s insurance process, and we’ll assist you in filing the claim. Please note that some items within liquidation pallets may already have cosmetic damage prior to shipping — this is inherent to returned and surplus merchandise and is reflected in the pricing.

Reselling Tips
3 questions
  • Online: eBay, Amazon FBA/FBM, Poshmark, Mercari, Facebook Marketplace, OfferUp, Craigslist
  • In-Person: Flea markets, swap meets, garage sales, local resale shops
  • Wholesale: Sell in bulk to other small retailers or resellers
  • Own Store: Open a discount or thrift store / pop-up shop

Many of our customers combine multiple channels to maximize profits. Electronics and tools tend to do exceptionally well on eBay and Amazon.

  • Electronics: High demand, high resale value — even non-working units sell for parts
  • Tools: Brand-name tools (Milwaukee, DeWalt) resell very well on eBay
  • Clothing: High volume, good for bundling and lot selling
  • Home Goods: Popular on Facebook Marketplace and flea markets

For beginners, we typically recommend starting with general merchandise or clothing pallets as they carry less risk while you learn the business.

A good starting point is to research the current “sold” listings on eBay for each item. The sold price — not the listed price — tells you what buyers are actually willing to pay.

General rule of thumb: aim to purchase merchandise at no more than 20–30% of retail value to leave room for your margin after fees, shipping, and time. Many experienced resellers target a 2x to 4x return on their pallet cost.

Policies & Returns
3 questions

All sales are final. Due to the nature of liquidation merchandise, we cannot accept returns on pallets once they have been shipped or picked up. This is standard practice throughout the liquidation industry.

However, if we made an error — such as sending you the wrong pallet or a pallet significantly different from what was described — please contact us immediately and we will work to make it right.

Liquidation merchandise is sold as-is and we cannot guarantee that all items in a pallet are functional, complete, or resalable. This is the inherent nature of customer returns and surplus merchandise.

What we do guarantee is that you will receive the pallet type described, the approximate quantity stated, and that the merchandise is sourced from legitimate US retailers — not counterfeit or gray market goods.

We take your privacy seriously. We never sell or share your personal information with third parties. Payment transactions are processed through secure, encrypted channels.

We will only use your contact information to process your orders, send shipment updates, and communicate about your account. You can opt out of marketing communications at any time.
